QuickBooks Integration

Secure connection to your QuickBooks Online company for seamless accounting data integration.

How the Connection Works

We connect to your QuickBooks Online company via Intuit's secure OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. You authorize access through Intuit's official interface; we receive access tokens to read the data needed for your requested features.

Data We Access

Accounting Objects

• Accounts and chart of accounts
• Customers and vendors
• Invoices and bills
• Payments and transactions
• Items and products
• Reports (as needed for features)

We only access objects relevant to your specific use case.

Company Metadata

• Company ID (Realm ID)
• Company name and information
• Base currency
• Fiscal year settings

This information helps us configure features correctly for your business.

Scopes & Permissions

We request only the minimum required scopes:

com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting - Read access to accounting objects
openid, email, profile - Minimal OpenID scopes to identify the authorized user within our system (only when required)

We do NOT request write scopes unless a feature explicitly requires it (and only with your permission).

Security & Privacy

Never Store Credentials

We never see or store your Intuit username and password. Authentication happens directly with Intuit.

Secure Token Storage

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and stored in secure, isolated database environments.

TLS Encryption

All data transmitted between our servers and QuickBooks uses industry-standard TLS 1.2+ encryption.

Disconnect Your QuickBooks Account

You can revoke our access to your QuickBooks data at any time. This will stop all data flows and remove stored tokens.

Alternatively, you can revoke access from your Intuit account settings at accounts.intuit.com
